the cone

Glass Quarter Designs is based at the Red House Glass Cone, a heritage site with 225 years of glass, industrial and social history within its walls.
The site is home to many skilled artists and crafts people who invite you to visit their studios and find unique gifts for special occasions. Many of them run workshops too (although Glass Quarter Designs are obviously the best!)
There is also a great fish and chip shop over the road and a lovely canal side area where you can feed the ducks as you picnic.

This is a lovely place to come and visit but as an industrial heritage site, certain parts may be challenging for people with limited mobility. The Glass Quarter Designs studio is fully wheel chair accessible though.
