Create your own fused glass bowl or dish in our studio at the Red House Glass Cone, Stourbridge.

 

In this workshop, you’ll design and make a colourful glass piece using a range of techniques and materials. You can follow an idea or experiment and see where the glass takes you.

 

No experience needed.

What will I make?

​

You’ll create a fused glass piece that will be shaped into a bowl or dish.

 

You can choose from different shapes and styles, and your design could include:

 

• Bold colour patterns

• Abstract designs

• Mosaic-style pieces

• Simple or detailed finishes

Each piece is completely individual.

​

What to expect

​

During this 3-hour session, you’ll be guided step by step through:

 

• How to safely cut and shape glass

• How to layer colours and decorative elements

• How to build your design

​

You can use a variety of techniques including cutting, layering, frit and mosaic-style designs.

 

There is plenty of support throughout, so you can keep things simple or try something more detailed.
