glass engraving

Itching for etching?! This fantastic glass engraving course is taught by glass artist Charlotte Hughes-Martin. In this one day class, students will be taught the basics of hand engraving glass.

 

The workshop will cover technique and pattern, with students having the choice of creating their own designs or working with one of Charlotte’s many images. Our aim is to make this ancient art accessible to anyone who likes to draw, doodle, write or make marks. Learn the basics and the possibilities of engraving.

You will learn to engrave on both flat glass and create a personalised drinking glass to take home. This is a fun workshop – ideal for beginners wanting to spend a creative day making something special.

All materials and tools will be provided. No previous knowledge required. Please insure that you wear fully closed shoes and practical clothing.
