Fused Glass Gingerbread House Workshop
Create your own fused glass gingerbread house in our studio at the Red House Glass Cone, Stourbridge.
In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, you’ll design and build a decorative glass gingerbread house — perfect as a festive display piece or a unique handmade Christmas decoration.
No experience needed.
What will I make?
You’ll create your own fused glass gingerbread house, using a combination of coloured glass and decorative details.
Your design could include:

Traditional gingerbread house patterns and textures

Decorative windows, doors and festive details

Creative colour combinations and abstract designs
You’ll build your design during the workshop, then it will be kiln-fired afterwards to create your finished glass piece.
What to expect
During this 3-hour session, you’ll be guided step by step through:

How to safely cut and shape glass

How to layer colours and create detail

How to build up your gingerbread house design
You’ll have access to a wide range of coloured glass and decorative materials, including copper details to add texture and character.
We’ll guide you throughout, while giving you the freedom to make something that feels like your own.
