glass enamel painting

We nearly called this workshop 'proper' glass painting as its using traditional glass making materials and techniques which means your design won't scrape off or fade. It should be good for the next 1000 years actually (just don't drop it!)

Within the workshop you will learn how to cut glass safely, and different paint application techniques.

 

The class will use a sgraffito method of glass painting, which gives a beautiful effect to the glass created.

All you need to bring is yourself and your enthusiasm! Though any pictures or subject material can be gladly incorporated into your work.

All materials and tools will be provided. No previous knowledge required. Please insure that you wear fully closed shoes and practical clothing.

Glass work will be fired in a kiln after the class and should be ready collect in the week following the workshop. We can also arrange to have your work delivered for a small addition fee.
