During this workshop, you will make your own beautiful bird bath using both shaped and square tiles pieces and gorgeous millefiori glass inlay.

Sarah will demonstrate how to safely use the tools and equipment, to cut and shape the crockery and glass. Then you can pick the colours and design the birdbath. Sarah will talk you through the mosaicking process of designing, arranging, gluing and grouting. Using up-cycled and repurposed materials, you’ll create something to be really proud of!

The courses are held at Glass Quarter Designs, Studio 14 on the site of the Red House Glass cone, near Stourbridge in the heart of the Glass Quarter. You can spend some time looking around the site, absorbing the history and visiting the other Art and Craft Studios. There is also a coffee shop on site if you get peckish but we will be popping the kettle on for teas and coffees to keep the workshop going!
