My daughter and I visited Glass Quarter Designs today and spent a lovely hour or so making glass Christmas cards at their 'Drop in workshop', They run a variety of workshops from time to time. The owners have used their talents to create some beautiful and unique gifts, that are for sale in the shop - it's well worth a visit.

Just back from a fab day with Sarah and Jane. I learned a lot - like how hard it is to make a non-wonky bead and not to be scared of layering colour! I enjoyed every minute and can't wait to see the end results later in the week. Thank you both.

Absolutely awesome crew at today's Crushed Glass Workshop. Very attentive to everyone's level of skill, and excellent at explaining all the processes. Great brews, and a great selection of plasters for the teeniest tiniest of nicks (for those, like me, who may require one!). Thank-you so much... looking forward to picking up our works of art once they're cooked!

Had a fantastic glass blowing taste session this morning with the lovely Charlotte. Very informative and interesting and a really fascinating introducing to this art. Will definitely be back soon! X

Lovely place that is run by friendly caring people. My little girl and her friends had a great time at her glass party. She is so proud of everything she produced, they made all the children feel all their work was really special. I'd recommend the parties to anyone... I know many adults that would love them too. Thank you for making the children's afternoon so lovely - I've had a message from everyone who came this evening saying what a fantastic time they had!

Amazing! I recently had my daughter’s 6th birthday parties with the lovely ladies at Glass Quarter Designs. From booking to the party, it was so easy. Communication was great & they were really accommodating. All the children loved making their own fused-glass panels and the spin pictures were wonderful! The ladies were really relaxed & helpful with the children, ensuring everyone created something beautiful. Thank you for such a memorable party! I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Had a great time doing mosaic workshop with Sarah on Sunday. We felt welcomed and at ease and it was so enjoyable learning a new skill and taking away something we had made! Thank you for a great experience, we will be signing up for another workshop soon – Jennifer J

Amazing afternoon spent making a crushed glass plate. Jane was great at explaining how to do everything and very generous with her equipment and glass. I can't wait to see my piece and will be booking more courses.

Me and my husband are totally hooked on glass blowing now - thanks to Charlotte’s fantastic educational, amusing sessions. We have been twice and will be back next month too. We are so thrilled with our baubles.
