Tis’ the season to be crafting! So come join Sarah and start getting into the spirit with some Christmas themed mosaic classes. Whether you want to learn a new skill, make some Christmas decorations with what you have already learned or just come for the Christmas sing along, everyone is welcome.
Sarah will demonstrate how to safely use the tools and equipment, to cut and shape the crockery and glass. Then you can pick the colours and design the picture. Sarah will talk you through the mosaicking process of designing, arranging, gluing and grouting.
The courses are held at Glass Quarter Designs, Studio 14 on the site of the Red House Glass Cone, near Stourbridge in the heart of the Glass Quarter. You can spend some time looking around the site, glass blowing demonstrations are held weekend afternoons. There is also a coffee shop on site but tea and coffee will be provided.
